HDPE bottles, or high-density polyethylene bottles, are a common plastic packaging container in daily life. High-density polyethylene (HDPE) is a thermoplastic plastic that is widely used in the packaging of various products due to its excellent physical and chemical properties.
Application areas
Beverage bottles: HDPE bottles are often used to pack beverages such as milk, juice, mineral water, etc.
Personal care products: used to package shampoo, shower gel, hand sanitizer, etc.
Chemical packaging: Due to its chemical resistance, HDPE bottles are also used to package industrial chemicals and household cleaners.
Pharmaceutical packaging: used to package solid drugs such as capsules and tablets.
With the continuous improvement of global environmental awareness, the recycling and reuse of plastic bottles has become an important part of resource recycling. ACERETECH, as a company specializing in providing plastic recycling solutions, customized a set of efficient HDPE bottle recycling, crushing and washing production lines for Mexican customers to ensure the clean recycling of HDPE bottles and meet customers' demand for high-quality recycled plastics.
The following is a detailed introduction to the recycling crushing and washing process:
Bale opener: Recycled HDPE bottles are usually transported in the form of compressed packages. First, they are unpacked by the bale opener to loosen the compressed plastic bottles for subsequent processing.
Belt conveyor with metal detection: The unpacked HDPE bottles are transported by a belt conveyor with metal detection. The metal detector can automatically detect and remove mixed metal impurities, ensuring the purity of the plastic bottles.
Manual sorting belt: The conveyed HDPE bottles enter the manual sorting belt that can be used by 6 workers. The workers perform preliminary sorting of the bottles at this stage to remove unqualified bottles and other impurities that are not made of HDPE materials.
HS shredder: The sorted HDPE bottles then enter the HS shredder, which cuts the bottles into smaller pieces, increasing the efficiency of subsequent washing.
Floating tank: The shredded HDPE fragments are rinsed twice in the rinsing tank, which effectively removes stains and residues on the bottle pieces and ensures the washing quality.
GH crusher: The rinsed fragments are further crushed by the GH crusher, so that the HDPE fragments reach a smaller size, which is conducive to improving the quality of recycled plastics.
Low-speed friction washing: The crushed fragments enter the low-speed friction washing machine, and through gentle friction, stubborn stains and label residues are further removed.
Pipeline drying: The washed HDPE fragments are dried by the pipeline dryer, which reduces the moisture in the fragments and provides convenience for subsequent processing.
Label separator: During the drying process, the label separator automatically separates the residual labels from the HDPE fragments to ensure the purity of the recycled plastics.
Spray washing: The dried fragments are then spray-washed for the final washing to ensure that there are no stains on the surface of the fragments.
Centrifugal dehydration: Finally, the residual moisture in the fragments is removed by the centrifugal dehydrator to obtain dry and clean HDPE fragments for easy packaging and transportation.
According to the specific needs of Mexican customers, ACERETECH customized this efficient and environmentally friendly HDPE bottle recycling crushing and washing process, which not only improves the recycling efficiency, but also ensures the quality of recycled plastics. The successful implementation of this solution once again proves ACERETECH's technical strength and market position in the field of plastic recycling, and also contributes to the global environmental protection cause.
